Your privacy portal for an organization

The per-organization page where you see and exercise your DPDP rights against a specific company.

What this is, and why it matters

Your rights under the DPDP Act are always exercised against a specific organization — the one that holds your data. There is no such thing as a request “in general”, which is why DPDP Guard will not let you file one against a company you have no relationship with.

So each organization using DPDP Guard has its own privacy portal:

Following that link means the “which organization?” question is answered before you start. Nothing to pick from a list, nothing to get wrong.

How you get there

You don’t find this page by searching — an organization gives it to you. Look for it in:

  • their privacy notice or consent banner,
  • the confirmation email they sent when you gave consent,
  • their privacy policy’s “how to exercise your rights” section.

If you have the organization’s slug (the short name in their policy URL, e.g. /policy/acme-corp), the portal is at the matching /p/acme-corp.

What you’ll see

The portal names the organization and lays out the four rights the platform supports: access a summary of your data, correct it, have it erased, and raise a grievance about how a request was handled.

From there:

  1. Not signed in — you’ll be asked to sign in first. We verify who someone is before showing them personal data, including when that someone is you. After signing in you land back on the same portal.

  2. Signed in, with a record — you get two buttons, Exercise your rights and Raise a grievance, both already scoped to this organization. The page also states the number of days they have to respond.

  3. Signed in, without a record — the portal tells you plainly that no consent links your account to this organization, rather than handing you a form that would fail on submit. That usually means one of two things: you’re signed in with a different email than the one you used with them, or they hold your data from somewhere other than DPDP Guard. In the second case, contact them directly using the details in their privacy policy.

What happens next

Requests you file from the portal appear on your personal dashboard alongside every other organization you deal with, with their response deadlines tracked.
